Pats have like 25 players or so with SB experience.
Pats pitched 3 shutouts this year..Miami,Dallas,Buffalo...the 3 things that bind these team they are all in the top 10 or so defensivley themselves.
People like to compare Rams to upstart Pats, and Pats to upstart Cats.
Rams took Pats lightley and were a soft team.
Pats respect Cats...will not take them lightley.
Pats held all runners to under 100 yards including Ricky Williams twice.
Pats will not be able to run themselves, so it will come down to QB's...I'll take Brady over Jake.
One thing I saw this year is the the Cats lost a game afer a bye, a bye may hurt the hot Cats...this will be a bye like they have never experienced.
Pats are 9-0 against common opponents...Cats are 5-4.
Cats are very good and deserve to be there, and could win.
But I just think the Pats are better and more experinced. This is Belichicks 5th super bowl either as head coach or assistant and is 4-1.
Bill belichick has won a super bowl without Parcells but Parcells never won one without Belichick.(little factoid)

Pats win because they don't turn the ball over...simple enough. Just don't see Carolina sustaining any long touchdown drives. NE will get some turnovers and convert them to easy points (and everyone will say how lucky they are). NE wins by 14.

RPM...I am counting on Pats getting ahead by 2 scores early (10-0)..if that happens it will force Cats to throw, if they have to throw its all over and could turn into a blow out...thats what I am counting on...I wouldn't be surprized to see the Pats come out with a no huddle approach early....Hey I haven't even decided wther to bet on them although I did bet a prop that they would win by 22+...thats because it fits SB situtions more than I think it will happen.

Don't the Redskins count as common opponents? That is like the third time you have thrown that stat out on various threads so I had to call you on it this time.

Hall your right I'm incorrect I must of marked it under somthing else.
My error, Pats do have a better record against common opponents....not as significant as the claim.
The rest is correct to the best of my limited but usually accuarate knowledge.
Try this.
Pats 9-1
Cats 7-4....This would be counting playoffs for both teams.

If you check trends, angles and team statistics even average power rating of opponents played, virtually everything points to New England.
I have heard on this site that New England has the best coaches. Belichick is almost god like.
I have heard Brady is equal to Montana after just 3 years.
To listen to all of you is there any reason to play the game? But the biggest question is why only 6- points?
The whole world seems to be on New England. I got to ask again WHY ONLY 6- POINTS? What has Carolina got that the MAN would only install New Enland a less than 1 touchdown favorite?
If you people want to follow the squares and Joe Public GO FOR IT.
I'm going to side with the sharps and the book, they are not buying into all this hype either.
One last word from ole buzzsaw. Two short years ago didn't a 14 dog win the super bowl? Who was it? Wouldn't be funny if it came back to bite them in the ass.
CAROLINA ROLLS 20-13

RPM... the Pats are like 27-0 when leading going into the 4th Q. (NFL best)...Also they are somthing like 15-1 when leading at half.
These figures may not be exact. but they are pretty close.
